It's that time again! Please join hundreds of your Lowcountry neighbors in the 4th Annual "Lilies on the River" fundraiser to benefit Hope Haven - our region's nonprofit organization that sustains vital services to victims of rape and sexual abuse.

This is a unique opportunity to remember and honor the women in your life who have made a positive impact through nurturing, mentoring or caring.

Purchase a tax deductible $10 lily for each person who has made a difference in your life. Send us the name of the women you wish to honor.

On Saturday, May 10 at 2 p.m. (Mother's Day Weekend), the lilies will be released into the river at a ceremony taking place in the waters at Berkeley Hall. There will be a Brunch at the Berkeley Hall Clubhouse including a champagne toast and silent auction. This year, Hope Haven will be honoring Island Packet President and Publisher, Sara Borton for her tremendous contributions to the community. Tickets for the Brunch are $50 per person and doors open at 10:30 a.m. Brunch is served at 11:00 a.m.

Your honoree's name will also be displayed in The Island Packet and The Beaufort Gazette on Mother's Day, Sunday, May 11. Lilies must be purchased by May 5th to appear in the newspaper. All names will also be displayed at the Lily Ceremony. You are invited to attend and release your lily or lilies. However, if you are unable to attend, a Hope Haven volunteer will release the lily or lilies on your behalf. You do not have to participate in the Brunch in order to participate in the release of the lilies.

Hope Haven would like to extend a special "thank you" to all who participated in last year's fundraiser. Your contributions made "Lilies" a huge success and helped provide services to hundreds of victims in need.
